Here I wish I could stand besides you
stand close besides
so I could hear your thoughts spoken aloud…
Stand in awe of this beautiful night
And applaud
When the moon starts to glide
Gracefully across the Prussian skies..
Here I wish to serenade my love
like the clouds do, as they draw closer
and garland the moon with its pearly light
Far,
faraway into the distance
dark silhouetted hills dance
with their ancient rhythm
creating an animated collage of shapes and forms…

Here I stand all alone
Holding within my eyes a certain scene
and wishing you had here been
with me ….standing besides.
